Design & Build Quality:
There will be a chance to buy Ptron Musicbot Evo in only one color black. It is being sold from Flipkart. The Ptron Musicbot Evo comes with a nice design and can be called a mini soundbar. It has buttons for volume and power. Apart from the Aux port, it has a memory card slot and micro USB charging.
Today, even earbuds are coming with Type-C port. In such a situation, the meaning of providing a micro USB port is beyond comprehension. There is also a mode button to switch between memory card, aux, and Bluetooth modes. A metal grill is in the front, and the rest of the body is plastic. The look of Ptron Musicbot Evo is trendy and attractive.
Performance:
Calling facility is also available with Ptron Musicbot EVO. If you are playing music on the phone and a call comes, you will be able to talk through the speaker. The Ptron Musicbot EVO has good sound. This is a 10-watt speaker. You will be able to use it both wired and wirelessly. It has Bluetooth v5.0 for connectivity. It has support for memory cards up to 32 GB.
It has a 52mm driver. Its volume is enough for one room. The sound is punchy but there seems to be a slight lack of bass, anyway, you should not expect heavy bass in this budget. The sound of Ptron Musicbot EVO at full volume is not piercing in the ears. You can connect it to any device from TV to phone to tablet or laptop. Overall, we liked the performance of the Ptron Musicbot EVO for the price.
Battery Backup:
This soundbar of Petron has a 1,200mAh battery. The company’s claim regarding battery is 10 hours and the review also found battery life close to this. After a full charge, we were able to use this speaker for more than 8 hours. So in this case it will be called a speaker with good battery life. Charging takes more than 2 hours. A year warranty is available with it.
Now overall, if you are looking for a well-designed soundbar then Ptron Musicbot EVO is not a bad deal at Rs 999.
